Our mission is to prepare our children smart enough to contribute their best in the development of the nation and the world.
When we come across the word ‘Quality’, the only word that captures our mind is ‘good’. Quality matters to all. Be it a homemaker, a trader, or a customer. But, being an educator at SCR Model school, I’m referring to this word, 'Quality' in the context of education.
For a while just think, “What hits your mind when you are asked about quality education?”
For some, the threshold of quality education is meant by focusing on literacy and numeracy. Some measure it purely by test scores /exam scores or how fluently a kid can read his lessons. Everyone has a different perspective.
Education is not simply the content delivery system, rather, it is a system designed to help all children reach their full potential and enter society as full and productive citizens. Quality education focuses on the whole child regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic status. It prepares the child for life.
The foremost pillars for imparting quality education are the teachers and the working environment. All we need are passionate teachers. Passion is the energy that keeps you going. It is a powerful force in accomplishing anything you set your mind to, and in experiencing work and life to the fullest.
We, teachers, at SCR Model School are fortunate that we are given such a nice working environment where we can make the best use of our skills. We always try to impart the best of our knowledge to the students.
“ When you are trusted, you become more responsible.”
Being a teacher, just ask one question yourself.
“Are we doing justice with our profession? Are we giving our 100%?”
That’s all to keep you motivating and becoming the better you every time.
It’s not always necessary to become a strict teacher or keep the students the discipline. It’s sometimes Okay if you become like them if you enjoy with them. The better a student-teacher relationship is, the better is their understanding. We always try to motivate the students to do their best. It's completely Okay if the results are not good. It may take time, but surely it will. If you succeed in developing an interest in your subject, more than half of your journey is covered.
But, unfortunately, such kinds of changes remain unnoticed. What always matters, is the score.
We must make sure that the quality education is just that an education that serves each child pedagogically and developmentally, an education that is inclusive and structured to realize the potential of each child regardless of location or socioeconomic status. Don’t let the word change their meaning- quality education is needed for all.
